IXS european cup #1 Leogang and #2 Spicak

Two weeks i spent in middle europe racing two first european downhill cup races. Trip went well and i got two pretty solid results. In Leogang i have never been strong but on this year i got pretty solid 33. In atacked field of hihg level riders. Run went pretty well even though it got pretty wild as it felt like i hit all the sections too fast, i think it is just part of the game if you wanna do well on fast tracks like Leogang. I wasn't too far off the pace either, 11 seconds to the winner, Bruni Loic.
Track in Spicak was really hard and rocky. I managed to qualify 26th with few mistakes on a wet track and i was looking forward to do even better on finals. All the guys stepped up for the finals and due some issues i finished 31. My chain got off and went between the plate and roller of a chain tensioner in the middle of the track and i lost few costly seconds due i couldn't pedal and my feet came off on a root section because i tried to pedal.
All and all i am still pretty satisfied how i did.
We also did training days in places like bischofmais, wagrain and leogang. Good trip!
